My internship at AdvocatesPedia was a thoroughly enriching one. Throughout the four weeks in June that I interned in AdvocatesPedia, I learnt the content, nuances, and technicalities of a Public Interest Litigation, and how, when, and where to file it. Our topic for the PIL was regarding the overcrowding of prisons within India, and my research on this topic enabled me to extensively understand and learn about prison conditions and legal aid for the same within India. Moreover, my second topic was about writs, bills, and petitions filed between 1967-69, and I gained a thorough understanding of the same as well. Overall, my internship experience with AdvocatesPedia was thoroughly enriching, and I really enjoyed working under Adv. Faiyaz Khalid.
