During my internship, I gained valuable insight into the field of Public Interest Litigation (PIL). My primary responsibility involved researching and drafting analytical reports on PILs filed in the Supreme Court and various High Courts, particularly focusing on the years 1992–1993. This deepened my understanding of the evolution of constitutional remedies and judicial activism in India. I was also involved in reviewing landmark judgments, studying procedural aspects of Article 32 and 226, and interpreting how PILs have been instrumental in addressing systemic social issues. The mentorship, structured workflow, and editorial guidance greatly enhanced my legal writing, research methodology, and policy understanding. This experience has strengthened my interest in public law and reinforced my commitment to using legal tools for social justice.
